INDIGO’S arts & crafts for adults with disabilities
Here at The Happy Crafters we believe that everyone is creative and being able to express this is so important and encourages a sense of mindfulness and happiness in life!
Coming together as a group each week will encourage social stimulation, calmness and a sense of real achievement from the projects they produce.
I really feel that this should be encouraged and nurtured to give our service users as much independence and satisfaction as possible.
What we do:
-
Mosaics
-
Painting and decorating a canvas
-
Rock art
-
Handmade cards
-
Chalk board making
-
Salt Dough
-
and much more…..
Some Projects may take a couple of workshops to finish
-
We always finish the sessions off with Refreshments and Mindfulness colouring before saying goodbye
